Description

The prayer we recite toward the end of the Seder, Shefoch Chamatcha, in which we ask God to pour his wrath out on those who don't know Him, has caused discomfort to many modern Jews living in a secular society. This class will explore the role of retribution in the redemptive process, what this prayer means and what it says about us.
