Description

Ramban's view that we prohibit trees in order to beautify Israeli cities, but it doesn't apply outside Israel, vs the view of Yad Ramah and Chatam Sofer that it applies outside of Israel as well. Rambam's apparent view that we care about "yishuv ha'aretz" outside of Israel as well, as seen in the Or Sameach.
