Description
This mishna deals primarily with the Av Nezikin of shein and its charechteristics.
a) It distinguishes between its eating things that is normal for it to eat (shein/nezek shalem) and eating things such as clothing and keilim which is not normally eaten by a beheima (keren/chatzi nezek).
b) Spells out (with examples) how shein is m'chayeiv the owner for nezek only when the eating occurs in reshus hanizak as opposed to in reshus harabim where the owner only pays for the benefit (hana'ah) that it receives.
