    The questioner probably has in mind MN 1:36 near the end, where Rambam condemns as deems as koferim, in the full sense, anyone who attributes corporeality to Hashem. He insists that their being misled by the pesukim is no excuse (vs Raavad, and likely in response to him--as Kapich notes). However, as Rabbi Wiederblank maintains, the Rambam does base his criticism on the fact that the "true philosophers" and Onkelos make it clear that Hashem is incorporeal. So apparently the Rambam would exempt from his disparagement one who lacks those resources. Zvi Lampel
