Husband authorizes a גט then disappears. He moves to Lublin & becomes Chief Rabbi. Torah learning in Poland, Galicia, & Lithuania differed from each other. R' Shapiro tried to bridge and balance the differences. Chassidut versus Mussar. World War I resulted in changes in Torah World. Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin: All were welcome. Monsieur Chouchani / שושני. Lublin instead of Palestine was a mistake. Death of R' Shapiro. Y.Ch.L. clones opened elsewhere after WWII. R' Shapiro & R' Revel. Large dedication ceremony 1930 was justified. R' Rakeffet on Pesach and other subjects.
