In this class, we begin Perek 4 of Sefer Ezra, consider the request of non-Jews to participate in building the Beit HaMikdash and their eventual opposition to the project, as well as the outline the issues that will challenge us through the rest of the Perek, including the use of the Aramaic language and the chronological issues surrounding the various kings mentioned in the Perek.
