Since October 7th, approx 90,000 babies have been born in Israel. With what hope can these children, many of whom bear names such as Nova, Be’eri, and Oz (in commemoration of the massacres there) be raised under these challenging circumstances? What will Simchat Torah look like when they enter the portals of the synagogue and the IDF? Thoughts on P. Tazria and the importance of looking onward to what lies ahead, even as we navigate the difficulties of the present.
