Of the millions species in the world, only man can communicate fully with others using the vehicle of speech alone. The power of speech can be and often is more powerful than all man’s physical activities. How and why is this the case? Why is speech so potentially dangerous? How does this attribute make man more God-like, and why is speech especially important for the Jew? This podcast will tackle all of these difficult issues from a traditional Jewish perspective.
