Description

This is a shiur about the role that Klal Yisrael plays in the world at large. Throughout the Yamim Noraim, we see examples of how we are encouraged, by the Torah, to think of the non-Jews. Yet, we also see examples of how the Torah requires us to maintain a distance from the nations of the world. This shiur discusses this topic in the context of Nitzavim/Vayeilech and the Yamim Noraim season. This shiur is also given in the year 2024, a year in which we were forced to re-examine our relationship with the nations around us since October 7th.
