As we mark the first anniversary of the October 7 attack on Israel, especially with Yom Kippur just days away, this is a moment that calls for reflection on the meaning of memory. As we mark the Yahrtzeit of so many souls, we must ask: How will we remember this chapter of our Jewish story? What narrative will we pass on to our children and grandchildren about that fateful day in October?
