The concepts of retirement from work and pensions are less than 150 years old, and yet, traditional Judaism has much to say about this issue, even found in the Torah itself, given 3300 years ago. Should a person, perfectly capable, be forced to retire at a certain age, in order to make way for the next generation -- or not? Traditional Judaism has much to say about the issues of retirement and the post-retirement years, which this podcast will explore.
