Description

Most of the verses cited in criticism of laziness are from Shlomo HaMelech (King Solomon), the wisest of all men, who clearly fights a holy war in his Proverbs and Kohelet against this terrible trait. Laziness ruins one's life in this world (he is deemed incompetent & unreliable), and also in the world to come, for his personality and spirituality suffer greatly from this. The Orchot Tzaddikim makes a special call here to oppose all those who encourage quarrels within Israel, which our journalists and politicians would be wise to heed.
