Why is the Haggadah so insistent that Hashem carried out Makkat Bechorot? Do the pesukim bear this out? Would have been any less of a miracle if an angel was involved? The Beis HaLevi and looking at a few Gemaras help to build an important idea about Pesach, the seder, Sefirat HaOmer and Shavout.
