1. Title: End of 3 year series & beginning of new serie
      Author: Jonathan Engel

This shiur officially ends the 3 and 1/4 year series on the History of Torah in Modern times shortly after the 45 minute mark. The series began on 9/13/2004 and was the topic for the Gruss Monday class for the 04-05, 05-06, and 06-07 academic years, and the start of the 07-08 years up until 10/15/2007.

The 3 year series began with leaving the ghetto. It covered Hasidism, Mitnaggdism, Mussar, and German Neo-Orthodoxy. The wrap-up shiurim from August-October 2007 finished off with the fight over Austritt which began in German Neo-Orthodoxy in the 1870s, and continued with the continuing effects and issues of Austritt down to our times.

After the wrap up at around the 45-50 minute mark, Rav Rakeffet starts a new mutli-year series for the Gruss Monday class on Hashkafa.

    2. Title: Jerry Seinfeld and Jason Alexander's Judaism
      Author: Jonathan Engel

At around the 36, 37, or 38 minute mark, R Rakeffet starts an aopx. 2 minute discussion of Seinfeld's connection to Judaism. He returns to his main topic, and again at somewhere between the 42-45 minute mark he starts a 2 minute discussion of Alexander's connection to Judaism, and how we should or should not relate to it.
