      1) Rabbi Nosson Adler from Frankfurt-Am-Main, the rebbe of the Chasam Sofer, was not the rabbi Adler of London who wrote a major work on the Targumim. The latter was a nephew of the former.

      2) The Chasam Sofer in his teshuvos mentions that the "Rema MiPano" was clean-shaven, not the Ramchal
