Description

Some hold that aggadah can never be used as precedent. Some distinguish between different types of aggadah. Others are more expansive in allowing precedent to be derived from aggadah. Please note that the definition of aggadah can vary, and certain accounts or passages that appear aggadic may in actuality be deemed halachic.
