Description

Sefiras Haomer is the time of hachana for Matan Torah. This is a time of excitement and simcha. The Ramban refers to Seifra as 'like Chol Hamoed' between Pesach and Shavuos. We also keep Minhagei Aveilus becuase of the tragedy of the Talmidei Rebbe Akiva. How do these two ideas fit together?
