Lecture given on a bus in Spain. The most prominent student of the Ramban was the Rashba. Another student was the Ra'ah(Rabeinu Aharon Halevi, from the family of the Ba'al Hamaor). How does one fulfil the hidur of praying like the vasikin? How many lotteries were there in the beis hamikdash during Yom Kipur? Was there ever an eiruv in Jerusalem? Why did the Ra'ah use one set of dishes for meat and dairy? How did the Ra'ah determine a veses? How did he calculate batel be'shishim when a solid fell into a liquid? Much of the shulchan aruch ohr hachaim is patterned after the Rambam, while yoreh deah is patterned after the Rashba's Toras Habayis, while choshen mishpat is patterned after the Rambam and the Sefer Hatrumos( Ramban's student) .
