Description
The final installment of the sugya. The shiur begins with a presentation of the 3 major positions in the Rishonim- the categorical issur hana'ah (Rambam/Ramban), the school which posits a distinction between kedushah/mitzvah and rishus (Ba'al HaMa'or/Ittur/Shibolei HaLeket), and the school which differentiates between keva and arai (Rosh). Likewise, the three definitions of bizui mitzvah are established- that of the Ramban. the Ba'al HaMa'or, and the Rosh, respectively. The position of the Mechaber and Rema are analyzed, as well as those of the Magen Avraham and Bach. The shiur concludes with the positions of the poskim, including the Be'er Halachah and Aruch HaShulchan.
