Description

There are three reasons why the Rishonim require בישול after טוחן: a) the סמנים were cooked in the mishkan, b) eventually cooking will give the grinding significance & c) preparing a food for בישול is significant but preparing for eating is not. This shiur also discusses the possible leniency that טוחן only applies to גידולי קרקע.
