Description

How much Harchaka is required for an oven situated in a house which is a fire hazard? The Mishna establishes the required distance of 4 Amot. But what if the fire damages despite the implementation of the required HarChaka? Can the damaged party sue the owner of the oven for compensation? This shiur is dedicated to analyze the great controversy between the Chachamim & Rebby Shimon on this issue. The focus will be the relationship between two concepts: Harchaka & Hafkaas Shem Mazik.
