In this shiur the Rav presents an image of the Personality of Ish Halacha, who prefers thought over speech, and calculates his every word. In his essence, he is absolutely dedicated to truth, even if it means standing up against people of prominence who will oppose him. In this shiur we will encounter a unique approach to the central concept of Torah Lishmah. As we end this shiur, we will begin our study of the role of the Jewish leader in the outlook of the Ish Halacha.
