Description

In the case of nine piles of Matzah etc., if we witnessed the rodent taking the piece, we apply Kavua which engenders a 50-50 safek and the house requires a second bedika. This is based on the model of nine stores. Why did the Gemorah need to apply the universal rule of Kavua to Chometz? In the second case of two piles, one of matzah one of chametz, and two houses, one checked, one not checked, we need not repeat the bedika because of the rule of "tolin" and "we say" that the chametz was taken into the unchecked house while it was the matzah that entered into the checked house. Why do we need "tolin" since the house has a "chezkat baduk"? Moreover, there is a second safek, perhaps the mouse ate the chometz, let's apply sfek sfeka.
