Description

We will study the difference between the mouse and the child who brought Chometz into a Bayit Baduk. According to the Rambam, we will operate with one safek or a sfek sfeka. If the mouse came out with the chametz, the Rambam requires that we perform a repeat search and identify the exact piece of chametz that was taken into the house. The Mishna LaMelech will attempt to explain this Rambam and reconcile this with the Rambam's psak like Rebby that one only has to find one piece and can assume that this is the piece that was lost. We will discuss the cases of chametz on a high rafter or down in the Bor, as well as the case of chometz in the mouth of a snake.
