Description

Why derive the prohibition against using Orla as a dye from a special pasuk? Isn't it included in the general Issur Hana'ah of Orla? And why do we need a special limud to establish the prohibition against using Orla as fuel for a fire? What is the status of a tree planted in a public area or in one's back yard for the sake of public consumption? How can Teruma be used by a Yisrael as food for an Eiruv when the Yisrael is enjoined from eating the Teruma? Or wine as an Eiruv for a Nazir? Rashi and Tos' offer two dif answers to this question. But why does Rashi raise this q' since the Nazir must drink this wine at Kiddush? How could Terumah be Issur Hana'ah since the mitzvah is to give the Terumah as a gift to the Kohen? Yerushalmi's chiddush.
