Isn't the topic discussed here related to the KosherSwitch?

What if the KosherSwitch is engineered to be so-probable but not 100% probable? what if it's 99%? consider a robot taking names from a bag, a sweeptstakes. If I'm the winner it will turn on my lights. if not, nothing will happen. Am I allowed to put my name into the bag (even with 99 other names). is that considered safek psik reishe or Dvar Sheeno Mitkaven? (what if I add 50 papers with my name? does it change?)

This question is only part of the kosherswitch issues, but it could shed some light to one aspect of it.
