Description

Before every Yom Tov we are obligated to study the Halachot of the chag. This does not apply to Purim, but on Purim itself we read the Megilla unless Purim coincides with Shabbat. In the latter situation we do not read the Meggila (gzeira deRabba) but in place of Megilla reading we establish a public study session. The Chacham will darshen the Megilla. Would the same requirement of studying the chag on the chag itself apply to all Yamim Tovim? In this shiur we will study Rashi and Tos' carefully.
