Description

The sugya raises the possibility that the false witnesses can be punished under the law of Ka'asher Zamam by sending the eidim to Galus in the city of refuge since that is what these witnesses tried to do to the accused. The Ritva says that in such a case the lives of the witnesses would be exposed to the danger of being killed just as the accused would have been. But who would kill the witnesses? Is there a Go'el HaDam? In the latter part of this shiur we will duscuss the malkot for the eidim under the violation of Lo TaAneh despite the fact that this is a Lav She'ein bo ma'aseh.
