Description

Rav Huna accepts Rebby Yehuda regarding Muktza LeAchila & prohibits eating the raw unsalted meat, but at the same time accepts Rebby Shimon as far as Muktza LeTiltul, and allows moving the meat from place to place. In this shiur we will analyze the distinction between Muktza LeAchila & Muktza LeTiltul according to the strange formulation of the Rashba, namely, that since the meat is designated for Achila, it's "enough" to enjoin us from Achila, and the muktza becomes limited to Achila. There is no need to extend Muktza to include tiltul. The problem is obvious: every Issur we know of expands to include all possible situations. What's the justification for limiting Muktza to the Issur Achila & not extending the Issur to include tiltul?
