Description
Israel boasts a very high concentration of the world’s Jewish population and, as such, it is a place that has many unique questions that arise in the realm of medicine. In this session, Rabbi Kenneth Brander and Rabbi Mordechai Willig present some of the more Halakhically challenging issues that arise in a primarily Jewish country, such as beginning of life and fertility concerns as well as transplants. Professor Yonatan Halevy, M.D., Director-General of the Shaare Zedek Medical Center, contributes an Israeli perspective on these topics.
