Description

We will categorize three types of Muktza Machmat Issur. The first two are real Muktza, i.e. there is no Heter Tiltul even LeTzorech Gufo or Mekomo. The third category includes those utensils are are generally used for Issur, but are not real Muktza but are prohibited under Gezeras Nechemya for Tiltul MeChama LeTzel. We will study the sugyot in Masechet Shabbat 44b & 46b & analyze a second category of Muktza Machmat Issur, namely, utensils that are exclusively designed for prohibited use, including trumpets, chicken coupes, and couches that were designated for securing currency. Tos' establishes that this category is contingent upon the controversy between Rebby Yehuda & Rebby Shimon. Who's opinion has been accepted LeHalacha?
