Description

We will study the three way controversy regarding the Heter of moving muktza by placing upon it a loaf of bread. Does this Heter apply beyond the case of a corpse? The Ba'al HaMaor denies it. The opinion of one of the Chachmei HaDor quoted in the HaMaor and in the Teshuvos HaRosh extends this Heter beyond the case of a dead body and applies it to any case of a Keli. The Rosh is a middle view. We can be lenient in the case of Issur Tiltul Keilim, i.e. a keli Shemalachto LeIssur, but not in the case of Muktza, e.g. a menora that was lit before Shabbos. We will begin the sugya of Chison Kis, an expensive, sensitive utensil that was put away so as not to be misused on Shabbos.
