Description

Why was Gavriel, the angel of fire, rejected from the "pargod" where the Schechina resides? Was he guilty of sin? Can an angel sin? Do Malachim have freedom of choice? And why do the celestial angels imply that Gavriel would be alleviated of punishment had he decided to reject the Divine command to thrust the burning coals onto Yerushalayim? Did Hashem truly desire to destroy the "enemies of His People"? Is Michael the angel who serves as the intermediary between God and Klal Yisrael?
