After the death of the Maggid of Mezritch many different Rebbe’s flourished. Galitzia and Hungary became the “territory” of Rebbe Elimelech. We have to ask advice regarding every small thing from our Rebbe. Simple Jews faith in their Rebbe gains them a place next to their Rebbe in the World to Come. A Jew prayed to Hashem that he would lose his eyesight so that he would not see his grandson who went “off the derech.” Rebbe Elimelech spent his entire life opening up the place of “blessing” from Above to Below.
