Description

We all go through the nisayon (test) of Korach, but we have the power to overcome it. Korach believed that he was driven by holy motives, but deep down, a tinge of jealousy was perverting his thoughts. Korach was swallowed into the ground to teach us that we all have feelings of jealously deep within us. Moshe Rabbeinu was not willing to undertake the leadership of the Jewish nation if doing so would hurt Aharon Hacohen, even slightly.
