Description

Existence of the world prior to Har Sinai depended on Hashem's kindness. Since Har Sinai the world's existence depends on Torah. When Torah is not being learned, the Tzaddik is the key. The Tzaddik has access to the treasury of unearned gifts which he transfuses to the rest of the world. Hashem chose to give the Land of Israel to the children of Avraham. Every Jewish yishuv (new settlement) is a step towards the conquest of the Land of Israel.
