Description

Shabbos is the opportunity to draw the "field of the week" into kedusha (holiness). Enjoyment of foods on Shabbos should be enjoyed- immensely! There is no night on Shabbos- there is only light. Friday night is a celebration of action of eating, singing. Shabbos morning is a celebration of doing "nothing" at all. The 3rd meal of Shabbos is a celebration of longing to resemble Hashem. We should send our boys to Yeshiva first and then university. Tachlis (purpose) is to raise good children- not "successful" children.
