Description

Pain is caused by the contradiction of what our neshama (soul) really wants and the way we've been living. When we recognize the good that is behind the pain, we can accept the obstacles with love. Our sins push us further and further away from b'nei Yisrael and Hashem. Teshuvah (repentance) brings us into a light of idealism and of looking at the world in a different way. When we sin, it is going against the order of the world. Teshuvah brings us back in line with reality.
