Description

Sadness doesn’t come from holiness but it can be used for holiness. Worrying over our sins is appropriate only during tachanun (confession) but not during prayer and Torah study. Most people don't have self control and they have mood swings. Battling the yetzer hara (evil inclination) is done by transforming sadness into a broken heart.
