Description

There is a fallacy that when we do "teshuvah" (return to G-d) we have to give up things we enjoy. Teshuvah returns us to the "Makor" (the source of life) making us feel more wholesome. "Proliferating details" get us stuck from striving in our avodas Hashem. Our Avodah is to raise these mundane details and make them holy. American culture makes life seem too difficult and complex.
