Pain tzadikim (righteous) experience in their teshuvah since they feel imbalance in their connection with Hashem. When imbalance is reset unbelievable bracha (blessing) comes into the world. Chanukah is time to reset balance between Ahava ("right side" of loving kindness) and Yirah ("left side" of awe). Segulah (remedy) to take left over Chanukah oil and smear on our legs to restore our balance. Lighting menorah inside the home to "fix" the home.
