Yesod (foundation) of teshuvah is feeling that we cannot live without truth. Yiddishkeit is true not just because it feels good- truth never goes away. Rambam- live the truth because it is the truth. When a person recognizes the radiance of absolute divinity of Hashem it fills our hearts for the truth. Chesbon haNefesh (personal accounting) brings us closer to the truth because of a deep remorse for things we have not done truthfully. Prayer of Torah scholar before going to sleep.
