Description

It must be clear to us that our entire purpose in life is to be attached to Hashem before we can actually start to become attached. The more we yearn to be attached to Hashem, the more the excuses for why we aren’t a better Jew will fall away. All 613 mitzvos and the thousands of halachos are all really ways of getting close to G-d. It is easy to get lost while doing the mitzvos and to forget their purpose is to get close to G-d. We must learn how to do mitzvos in a way to get close to G-d. What does it mean to be close to G-d?
