Description
Love of G-d is a mitzvah from the Torah. Hashem wants Torah to be given over in a kibbutz (gathering). True goal of a gathering is to bring together in one place Jews with true heartfelt longings to come closer to G-d and give nachas (pleasure) to Hashem. A Jews' neshama (soul) is G-dly and deep inside of us and has an unbelievable desire to come closer to Him. When we come together to learn Torah we have to beg Hashem to come closer to Him and to let go of our own individual ego. We should say, "Help me to learn the truth in the words I am going to hear". We should get together L'Shem Shamayim (purely for G-d).
