This shiur is very short and therefore priced at 0.5 credits. P. 192. The importance of original thought. An example: The natural inclination on 9 B'Av is to go to the Kosel Hama'aravi (western wall); but am I going because it's the "place to be," "the 'in' thing to do," or am I going because I have a feeling within myself that this is where I need to be on such a day? Another example: an internal thought and decision to stop talking during davening (prayer). Changing ourselves, a little bit at a time, because of thoughts that originate within ourselves.
