Description
P. 205. It is hard to explain the hargasha (feeling), the sensitivity that a person develops through experience. The Gemara asks what Chanukah is, but never answers the question. Chanukah is the maayan (wellspring) of Yiddishkeit and is unknowable, coming from the hidden light of Creation. Secrets of Torah can only be taught to someone who is a chacham (wise person) and a meivin mi'daato (understands from daas). The nekuda ha pnimis (the inner point) is the student's grasp on his Rebbe, not just his Rebbe's teachings. Anything that requires an inner sensitivity is called sod (secret).
