p. 43 The need to combine intellect and emotions in every part of life. Wonderful intentions but lacking the proper knowledge. What is chochmah (wisdom)? Yir'as Shamayim (fear of Heaven) - the perfect fusion of heart and mind. Gehinom (hell) I "know" about, taivos (desires) I "feel." The process of fooling ourselves and satisfy our emotions by bribing the mind. What does it mean when I say "I love to learn?" True yirah is learning, understanding and working on the truth of the matter, davening (praying) for it... and then it penetrates my heart.
