Page 126. If I'm not conscious of G-d's presence, then there's nothing to be afraid of. Do I say that G-d exists, or do I know that G-d exists (the Kedushas Levi and his father-in-law). The objective: always "G-d conscious." Not taking on too much right away. Yiras (fear of) Hashem is built on the simple reality that Hashem is here right now, always. Less and more likely times to think about Hashem. Bringing Hashem home with us from shul. What's the pshat (straightforward explanation) of my life: is there yiras Elokim, or not? If Hashem is right next to me, then I am embarrassed, but if He's not, there's nothing to worry about and I can talk in shul, or look at things I'm not supposed to. Awareness and gratitude at least during davening (praying) and then into the rest of the day.
