Description

Page 139. The five components of our work in this world are yira (fear), halicha b'drachav (walking in his ways), ahava (love), shleimus halev (having a complete heart), and shmiras hamitzvos (doing mitzvos). The three ahavas of love of Hashem, Torah, and Yisroel (the Jewish people) are all one unity. If a person is missing one of the three, he is missing all of them. When we are one with Torah, we are one with all of existence, since the world was created from the Torah. Wherever there is echad (oneness), there is ahava. It is easier to see the Elokus (G-dliness) in children than in adults because we adults have covered up our Elokus so much. A human being wears a thicker mask than does nature.
