Page 201. What does "good" mean? Absolute tov (good) is kirvas (cleaving to) Hashem. There can be good in a bitter situation. Torah is called "tov" because it is emes (true). A Jews yiddishkeit should not depend on what it "gives us." We cannot fakeout our children with our behavior. Parents who seek the truth inspire their children. How did our generation become so satisfied with such little trite "pleasures." In each of us is a spark of holiness that only wants truth.
